Summer Fun

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. We have officially begun moving out of our apartment and will be staying with my parents for 2 weeks. So life is just a little crazy right now with having to do 2 moves. PLEASE keep your fingers crossed that we actually close on the house this coming Monday! We were supposed to close on May 27th so it's been a stressful month to say the least. 

I can't believe it's officially summer. I knew once summer came then it would fly by and before you know it summer will be almost over and we will have a new little bundle of joy. We finally found the perfect name for this little girl but we haven't decided if we are going to announce it yet or wait until she is born. It's a little different and I don't know if I can handle the facial expression people will probably give us once they hear the name. But stay tuned maybe we will come up with a cute way to announce it {we'll see}.

I want to make this a fun summer for Morgan so I made a bucket list of a few things. As soon as we move in this will hang in our kitchen as a reminder to slow down and enjoy summer!! 

Miss Morgan has really enjoyed the outdoors and being in her kiddie pool. I can't wait to take her to a big pool, she's never been before! 

On Friday M and I had to take a quick trip to our favorite Target. I don't know what I'm going to do not having Target less than 5 minutes from me. {dying already}

And now I will leave with this gem of a story. 

I was packing in the living room and Morgan was in the kitchen, I went to check on her and noticed she was eating something so I asked her to spit it out and there in my hands was a LADYBUG!!

A Little Update

Well another weekend has come and gone so fast.

Morgan and I have been so spoiled this month because Steve has EVERY weekend off. And for the ones who knew how is old job was he only had ONE Saturday off a month and sometimes that didn't even happen. So, now with his new job he only works one Saturday a month but this month he didn't have to work any weekends, it's going to be sad next month having him gone but I am so thankful its only for one weekend a month now. 

So with this whole blogging thing, I really started this as a way for friends and family to check in on Morgan as most of our family and friends live in other states. Once I found out I was pregnant I was a little lost with what do with this space. But I love having this place where people can come check in on us when ever they feel like so I guess you can say I am back on the blogging bandwagon, especially with baby girl #2 coming in just 12 weeks!! Yikes! But hang with me as I try figuring out where I want this blog to go. 

In other exciting news the Burrows family is on the move!

That's right we are leaving the city and going to live in the country aka green-acres {as my parent's call it ;)}. Once we found out little Burrows #2 was on her way we knew we wanted and needed more space for our growing family and with that we decided it was time to grow up and buy a house. I guess in a way we always knew if we were to have more kids we were going to move back up north where Steve grew up so the decision to move there was actually pretty easy. I still can't believe this LA born chick is moving to a town called Stoneboro with a population of 1,036! But it's only 45 minutes from my parents which is great because I don't think I could handle being more than an hour from them, especially with the girls. We found the house that was just right for us and we should be closing on the 30th {fingers crossed, we have already had this pushed back almost a month}!! I'm just ready to get in there and get the house ready because before we know it there will be a new little one demanding even more of my time. 

And of course here is the photo over load of our week/weekend. 

This is one of my favorite pictures of Morgan. She loves taking a bath and has to always watch the water run. Also, when she finally has that minute or so with no diaper she just has to feel her butt, it's like she forgets it's there. Just love it! I think this has to go in our bathroom. :)

We brushed Morgan's 7 little teeth for the first time the other day. Seriously, where did my baby go??

Our Father's Day was such a great relaxing day. It was gorgeous so we got Morgan's baby pool out for her to play in and just hang out.

Can you believe this is only picture I have of the 2 of them on Father's Day!? And even worse, I don't have one picture with my dad in it! Ugh!

Our Weekend in Pictures

It's been a while since I posted any updated pictures of Morgan.

Being pregnant and chasing a very active 18 month old leaves no 'free time'.

Wait, what is free time again?? ;)

I did manage to snap a few pictures of her at the park over the weekend. 

It's hard to believe she is one and half!

It's hard to believe I only have 14 more weeks left until the baby is born! 

We are still calling her 'baby' because we cannot pick a name!!

It's so much harder this time around. Hopefully we will have a name picked out 

soon. It's seriously driving me crazy! 

Morgan knows where her baby sister is. I love asking her and she runs

to my belly and puts her hand on it. I can't wait to see them together. 

Yesterday was such a beautiful day that we we filled up Morgan's baby pool

to let her splash around. Look how much she has changed since last summer!
