March Monthly Favorites

I thought I would try something new this month. I love reading and watching monthly favorites videos and post. It’s my new guilty pleasure!! Here are a few things that I have been loving on this month. I hope you all enjoy it and it helps you try new products that you would't have thought to try before. 

YouTube

Hi, my name is Brittany and I am addicted to YouTube. 

That’s right I am hooked and can’t stop watching. I love all the makeup channels, vlogs, tutorials, everything. Thanks YouTube!

FOOD

So, I am trying to eat better but the one thing I just cannot give up is popcorn. Angies Boom Chika Pop is amazing!! Morgan and I both just can't get enough of the kettle corn.

APPS

As most of you know I am obsessed with taking pictures and Instagram, VSCOcam is one of my top favorite photo editing apps. Here is a before an after. I love this app, look how much better this picture is, look at the color! The app itself is free and they have some free filters but you can also buy more. This one is from their Bright + Clean Pack. 

MAKEUP

I have been using the same foundation for months and months, Sonia Kashuk, I still love it but again I was wanting to try something new. I have been hearing really great things about the Fit Me foundation. It seriously is amazing! I have pretty normal skin so I went with the Dewy+Smooth in nudge beige. They also have a Matte+Poreless, if you don't know which one would work better for your skin you can go to their website and answer a few question and it will tell you which finish and color is best for you. It's so light weight and you don't really have to build it up. In the picture below I am wearing it, I have some redness on my cheeks and I didn't even need to use my concealer to help cover it up. This is going to be a great summer foundation.

First, lets talk about how cute the Flower products packaging is! The loose powder is a little bulky but the white with rose gold touches is just so adorable. If you haven't seen or heard of this band it's by Drew Barrymore and is sold exclusively at Walmart.
I have been looking for a new bronzer brush and when I saw this and felt it I knew I had to try it. It's so soft!
Again, in the picture below I am wearing the loose powder in shade L02 Medium. Love it! Go try it, I don't think you will be disappointed.

If you follow me on Instagram then you already know how much I am in love with this lipstick! I have really been trying to step outside of my comfort zone and try new products and colors when it comes to makeup. I love this color for spring and summer. These lipsticks are so amazing they last for hours without having to reapply. I cannot say enough great things about this line and they have tons of colors. The one in the picture is Spellbound (number 325).

BODY/SKINCARE
This body butter has been a life saver the last few months. I got lucky and they were marked down at Target and was able to stock up. I know you can still get it online but if you can find it in your store it will most likely be cheaper, there are two or three different scents and they all smell yummy.

NAIL POLISH

I have had a pretty bad habit, no scratch that it was actually nasty! I bit my nails my whole life. I don't know what happened but probably about a month and half ago I just stopped, cold turkey. I tried so many times and so many different things so I’m not sure what clicked this time but I am so happy it did. Now I am totally obsessed with nail polish. Currently I am loving this style and these colors. 
If you know of any nail polish or nail care that I need to know about let me know in the comments as this is all new to me. :)

Happy Friday Friends! 

Not a whole lot going on over here these days. Just waiting for Spring weather

so we can get out of the house. But yet again we woke up to a light dusting of snow and its currently snowing!! Ugh :(, I thought we were done, but nope! 

Can you believe in 14 days it will be day 100!!

Happy Spring!! 

Unfortunately mother nature did not get the memo. We woke up to SNOW! 

Yes snow. Morgan was excited to see the snow but this momma was not. 

I am over it. I am ready to get these girls outside. We have a great park that is maybe a half 

mile from the house and I am just itching to get out every morning for walks.

Quinn Marie :: 6 Months

180 days, 4,320 hours, SIX MONTHS!! 

Happy Half Birthday Quinn!!!!

I honestly cannot believe its been half a year. These last six months have had its ups and downs but I would't change a thing. I'm still learning how to be a momma to two kids and I'm sure that will never change. But we seem to have a routine down but with spring right around the corner I know that will completely change because this winter has kept us inside pretty much every single day of the week. I'm excited to finally get these girls out in sunshine and take them to our park and on morning walks.

Now on to the pictures. ;)

You can't keep this girl down. She wants to stand all day, everyday.

Quinn has changed a lot this month. Just a few days after turning five months old she started sitting up on her own and that changed how we do everything. No more leaving the room for a minute because this girl is either sitting up or rolling all over place. 

 

We celebrated her first Valentines Day.

Negative temperatures kept us cuddled in bed on many days. 

She is teething which means everything is in her mouth these days and a drool queen.

I see her bottom two teeth trying to push through.
